Our Vision

Iğdır University Painting Department goes beyond training original and creative artists equipped to meet the needs of the 21st century. Our vision is to contribute to enriching artistic and creative values in social life by training artists and designers who can produce original and impressive works that will meet the artistic and creative needs of contemporary society. This vision aims to be a Department that constantly renews and develops itself, is proud of our students and our graduates are successfully represented at national and international level.

Our Mission

As Iğdır University Painting Department, our mission is to maximise the creative talents of our students and turn them into successful artists and designers in the national and international arena. We aim to educate constructive and creative individuals who have adopted the enlightenment of Atatürk's Principles and Revolutions, who have national and universal identity awareness, who are tolerant, fair, who have assimilated the culture of democracy, who are sensitive, analytical and critical thinkers, who have developed communication skills, who add value to their environment. Our graduates distinguish themselves as professionals who can use the power of art to transform societies and leave impressive traces in various fields of art.
